The 50k Ankle Grinder will bring to your attention some of the picturesque scenery we have here in the southwest. From the views across the Axe Valley onwards into the tranquil rural village of Broadwindsor overlooking the stunning West Dorset countryside. With the final leg through the South Somerset valleys passing close to the Historic Forde Abbey.
This ride is suited to anyone looking for a challenge and a perfect opportunity to test all your hard work whilst training. If you are a novice, some consideration should be taken before accepting this challenge.
The 100k Cyclone will bring to your attention some of the picturesque scenery we have here in the southwest. From the views across the Axe Valley onwards into the tranquil rural village of Broadwindsor overlooking the stunning West Dorset countryside. The ride will then continue through the South Somerset valley’s passing close to the Historic Forde Abbey and heading back towards the River Axe which is a temporary stretch before venturing in to the small town of Colyton.
Pushing on through from there the riders will climb up out of the Coly Valley over into the captivating fishing village of Beer, famous for providing quality stone for the Exeter Cathedral. Participants will then enjoy a stint along the esplanade in Seaton, Gateway to the Jurassic Coast and further forward to Axmouth along the River Axe Estuary. The final leg will take you along the Trinity Common before descending back into the Axe Valley to finish in Axminster.
This ride is suited to Intermediate riders, who have experienced such distances. If however you are a rider who is unsure of these distances, training and careful consideration would be strongly advised.
